Darren Smith has served on the United Way of Western Kentucky Board of Directors since 2023.  He works at Whitlow Roberts Houston & Straub, PLLC as an attorney.  Smith says, “It’s an honor to serve our community through this outstanding organization. Our goal is simple, but vital; to make a lasting impact on as many lives as possible.”

James Morrow has served on the United Way of Western Kentucky Board of Directors since 2023.  He works at Bunge Chevron Ag Renewables as quality assurance manager.  James says, “I’m both humbled and excited to be a member of the board of directors of the United Way of Western Kentucky. The mission is to improve the lives of people in our communities.  Adopting this mission allows us to live out the words of John Wesley, ‘Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.’”

Rebecca Ferch has served on the Board of Directors since 2024 and is the Employee Engagement Coordinator at Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership. She says, "The United Way is important to me because people matter. As the umbrella organization and foundation, it ensures that every person in the local communities has their basic needs met and receives an education, making it detrimental to west Kentucky."
