Retired United launched in September 2025 as a new initiative of United Way of Western Kentucky, providing opportunities for retirees to stay active through volunteer work, social gatherings, and community involvement. The group aims to recruit 100 active participants.

Membership is open to all retirees who want to stay connected, give back, and make Western Kentucky a stronger, more caring community.”

Upcoming events include:

• Project United - September 11
• Pickleball for Peanut Butter - September 15. A round robin style event, collecting peanut butter as entry fee for food pantries at Family Services Society and Paducah Cooperative Ministry.
