"I had this training about 9 years ago, and then wanted the refresher when United Way offered it. In my 20 years of working in this community, this information has been some of the most helpful in my career!!! The culture of poverty is a hard subject to tackle, but very rewarding once it is understood… it has truly helped me in the way I serve our children and their families in the ever changing decline of our demographics…. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to attend this training in our own community!!

Bridges Out of Poverty is a set of concepts that helps businesses, churches, schools, social service organizations and individuals address poverty in a comprehensive way. It provides ideas and concrete tools a community needs to reduce, alleviate and work with those in poverty.
